The beach does crazy things to me!

Normally, I am a late sleeper, but at the beach I get up early. This morning I was on the beach watching the sunrise by 5:30! It seems strange...where we are on the coast, we are facing south instead of east so it seems that the sun is rising in the wrong place!

I sat there singing praise songs, watching the waves crash into the sand and all I could think about was Emma. The same sun that rose to greet me, set to put her to sleep. I am overwhelmed when I think of the awesome ways God moves each day and how He is inching me closer to my baby with each new sunrise!
My prayer for Emma as I sang this morning came from a song I learned on a Via de Cristo retreat several years ago called On Eagle's Wings by Michael Joncas
And He will raise you up on eagle's wings
Bear you on the breath of dawn
Make you to shine like the sun
And hold you in the palm of His hand

Please be advised, 2 bikers have been hired for massages this afternoon poolside. Your biker's beard won't get in the way as he promised to trim the bottom an inch. Your Mom's biker only has the handlebar mustache and will braid it. No worries. They are new at this, but the price was cheap so I booked both. I told them it was from the ankle down. They will toss in painting toenails for a nice tip. They bring their own spirits in a leather bag to share so no need to order mimosas. They also promised they would use the outdoor showers prior to starting. Let me know if you have any problems as I told them this is a trial and if they didn't do a good job I wouldn't use them again. They seemed to tremble in their boots when I said that. They really want the business to buy gas to get home.
