so much for my weekend...

I am guessing that you are like me and that you look forward to your weekends to rest and do the things that you want to do - like shop.  Well, there are lots of things I would rather be doing this week - like shopping...or going with Sydney to her family's apple butter weekend...or just sleeping, but NO!  I am going to be cleaning like a mad woman!

Monday, I will be having yet another homestudy visit.  yes...the time has come for me to redo and update my lovely paperwork.  What's frustrating is that this particular hoop is not for China...it's for the US end of things.  I have my medical update, my criminal background check, my 3 years of tax returns...all the necessary papers all ready...but now I have to get the house ready for my social worker to visit.  She hasn't been to my new house, so that will be fun...and I will get to show off my Emma's room!

I just wish that I could wiggle my nose or snap my fingers or some other magic something and the house would clean itself and I could do something fun with my weekend.  Anyone want to come and clean with me?   It will be so much fun!

I hope it went well, Angie! Definitely know that feeling of wanting it all done without the work! Every day...every day!

Ugh to having to redo paperwork and such! But hope study went well and you enjoyed your sw and now you get to enjoy a sparkly house! :) Over the years we had so many visits that I became a huge slacker. At first, I would bake and such and by our last visit...three kiddos later, she was lucky if I remembered to offer her a glass of water. LOL

Angie, I like to listen to NPR when I clean or a book on tape on my I-Pod. Nothing like having your earphones in and listening to a trashy novel while cleaning the shower. Makes the time go faster and seems more productive.

Hope your visit went well. Let us know how the wait is for US.
