My dear friend, Elizabeth, was in a dance recital today. It was actually a Christmas program, but had to be postoned due to snow. While it may seem odd to have a Christmas program 50 weeks before Christmas...it was truly a blessing in a way that may have been overlooked by my busy heart in the hoopla and busy-ness of the Christmas season. The story of Jesus is not just for Christmas and Easter. His birth, life, death, burial, and His RESURRECTION are daily gifts to us. The title of the program was "God With Us." How it made me think about the dailyness of that gift...and how, sadly, I don't always give my love back to him except on Sundays and holidays...I owe Him so much more...so much. I am thankful for that reminder today! here are some sweet pics of that girl I love!

She was so excited about her family and friends who came to see her...her flower gifts...and most especially getting ready for a sleepover with Mamaw!
