This week was my spring break...Praise the Lord, cause if I would have had to teach another week without a break, there would have been...well...it wouldn't have been pretty! So I have spent the week nesting and resting! I have been working on baby proofing the house. I have these handy things on doors that I don't want her to open...I have outlet covers in...I am working on getting the kitchen sink cabinet locked, but the lock I bought won't work. Boo.
I also now have a gate at the top of the stairs.
Max does not like to be on the OTHER side of the gate by the way...
I saw this idea in a magazine and I thought it would be an easy, cheap, and cute way to decorate the walls in her room. I thought I bought large enough hoops, but now that they are up, I think they need to be bigger...
Or mabye just a few more...I think they just get lost on that wall. What do you think?
It's beena great week...not so sure I am quite ready to go back, but hey! I only have 10 teaching days left this year...I think I can make it!

oh, you are ahead of me with the baby proofing! my to do list is expanding by the minute!! i love the little fabric/hoop decorations! It gives the same "feel" of hanging decorative plates. You could add some more through the years w/ special fabrics or add plates to the display as well. Either way, it's a cute idea!!
Yep, Bigger is better! - or Maybe mix in some amazing peasant paintings or sweet children's needle work picked up at a street market in Beijing :)
Love the circles on the wall...what a cute idea!! We have been looking at baby gates, and all of that stuff also, so much to do! But it's fun!!
Take care and nest away!!

Neat idea. I do vote for some more though. Really neat idea.
So cute--I love the large and medium sized one. I'm thinking the small one is just a little too small--or maybe add another one of the small ones right next to it to make it bigger. But, It's super cute. Such fun stuff going on at your house!
Angie, her room is so beautiful! I love the idea of the hoops with fabric. Gorgeous. I think a few more would be perfect! Love them! So pretty. Not too much longer...
Angie,
