Fly Home, Little Nightingale

Erin Michelle Page flew into Jesus' arms tonight! Please be praying for the family. Also, their financial bills are astronomical and none of them have been able to work for a month. If you are willing and able, check out her Caring bridge site to see how you can help!

I leave you with the song that makes me think of Erin - It's by Alathea

ANGEL
(Mandee Radford)

Fly home little nightingale
Fly home and rest
You gave your all
You gave all your best
You blazed with beauty like an autumn mountainside
You lost your leaves and ran out of time,You ran out of time
You left us dark down here but the sunset burns bright
You flew to Jesus up there
Now there’s one more angel in heaven tonight,Angel in heaven tonight
I don’t mourn for you
I grieve for us
‘Cause you’ve gained everything
But you is what we’ve lost
The springtime’s here and the flowers are in bloom
But it’s a gray season ‘cause we don’t have you,We don’t have you
You left us dark down here but the sunset burns bright
You flew to Jesus up there
Now there’s one more angel in heaven tonight,Angel in heaven
Tonight, every moment is marked with your absence
And every tear that falls falls for your lingering presence
I feel like you’ll walk through the door
I smell you on all of your clothes
I curse the day my memory lets you go
My angel, my angel, angel, my angel
You left us dark down here but the sunset burns bright
You flew to Jesus up there
Now there’s one more angel in heaven tonight,
You left us dark down here but the sunset burns bright
You flew to Jesus up there
Now there’s one more angel in heaven tonight,Angel in heaven tonight
Fly home little nightingale, fly home and rest.

Oh my heart is broken. I just read all the updates on the caring bridge site for the last few days as we have been out of town. In times like these, it truly makes us focus our attentions on eternity, and how brief our time is on this earth. We never know. I'm sure this precious child or her family had no idea her time was so short.

No more pain. No more hospitals. No more sickness. She is looking into the precious eyes of her Heavenly Father who is the ultimate physician. The healing didn't come at Wellmont, or Vanderb. but it has now come in Heaven. She is whole once more.
