The Crib

Matt and Sydney and Cherith came over tonight for dinner. I made my first meal in my new house...and it's still standing! So are the people who ate the food! I made tortilla soup...gingerbread and coffee for dessert. Pretty yummy.

After supper, we headed upstairs and Matt putt Emma's crib together. Max helped as you can see!
Sydney played with Emma's baby doll...I think being around the baby stuff gave her baby fever!
Tightening the last screw...
Max...the overseer
I think he may already sense something...and be a little jealous!

A red thread of sorts...all of the hardware was tied with a red ribbon...For those who don't know, there's an ancient Chinese Proverb that says,
"An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet,
regardless of time, place, or circumstance.
The thread may stretch or tangle, but will never break."

We have a long way to go...but the crib being complete just makes my heart smile!
