A night on the town

Tonight was a very special night full of some of my favorite things! My Mom picked me up and we went to dinner. After we ate, we headed downtown. See, tonight was Christmas Open House. All the stores were open and serving goodies (YUM!) We only had time to go into one store, but it is my all time favorite store. It's called Cranberry Lane - the store is full of every good thing - it's totally my decorating style! I am getting a Christmas present from there...heehee! I picked out a precious picture that simply says, "Say Grace." I am planning on putting it in my kitchen. (But I don't know I am getting it! :) Part of the reason I like the store is Mr. Cranberry. He can whistle like nobody's business and he always makes you feel special! He calls me "Teach." he always asks about "our baby in China." He's precious and he makes the store even better!

Me and Mr. C

We had to hurry through the store because it was almost time for the show. We had tickets to see the Radio production of "It's a Wonderful Life" at the Paramount. That's my favorite Christmas movie. I could almost quote it! Besides that, just being at the Paramount feels like magic! It's such a beautiful, old theatre...I felt as if I was going back in time and really at a radio show. Such a fun night with my Momma!
And then...as if the night couldn't get any better, Hallmark is showing sappy holiday movies...WOW! What a night!

Angie, that totally sounds like my kind of night! That store looks adorable and I am not surprised that you are buddies with Mr. C as you seem to make friends everywhere you go! : ) That theater looks so neat and how much fun to see an old Christmas movie with your Momma! I'm glad you got a night on the town! Happy Thanksgiving!
