As if things aren't slow enough...
There is now a rumor that the CCAA is not making referrals at this time due to the outbreak of swine flu. It is hard to tell how long this suspension will last. I feel for those who know they are next...I can't imagine being so close and then hearing this news. At least I am still so far away it doesn't feel like it directly affects me. Praying this will not last long...

It's heart breaking, isn't it? So glad you had fun with your friend Kristi over spring break!
I can't believe there is another delay with this process. 30 more days is a long time to wait for referrals and I'm sad for those folks who won't receive their TA's and meet their little ones soon. It is heart breaking. I hope this won't make our wait longer and that they will just start referring more babies after the scare is over.
Ugh. I didn't even think about how this would affect those waiting for their adopted babies!
