Snow! Glorious Snow!

We have a winter wonderland here!  On Friday night, the snow started...we ended up with about 6 inches...the biggest snow fall here in years!  It's been gorgeous!  I wanted to get some pics of Max playing in the snow...but it seems that he hates snow.  He refuses to go out until absolutely necessary and then will only venture as far out as he has to.  He's quite pitiful actually.

I've had a bit of a rough go the past few days.  Trying to stay away from the pain meds cause they make me loopy, but somehow children's aceteminophen doesn't cut it.  I have one incision that I am concerned may be getting infected...or maybe it's just part of the healing...I may end up calling the doc in the morning...maybe they will let me come in and take out the staples early!

Today, Syd picked me up and we went to the grocery store for a few things she needed.  I told her it was like taking an alcoholic to a bar.  We did play some games...such a fun way to spend a snowy, Sunday afternoon. 

I had my Dad bring me home last night so I could sleep in my own bed.  I've been so blessed to be able to stay at my parents as I recovered, but it was so good to be at my own house...I've missed it so much!  I will go back to their house for Christmas, well...it's not like they are far away...less than half a mile.

All is well here...you ready for Christmas?  I'm not...and if the snow doesn't melt so my momma can take me shopping...you may not get a present!
