The Wedding

Emma and I were in my friend Cherith's wedding this weekend.  I was so proud of my girl.  She walked right down the aisle...holding the hand of the ring bearer.  She didn't drop a single petal, but she walked like an angel down the aisle.  She stood with me through the first prayer and then sat with my parents.  Then, when it was time for the recessional, she came right back and walked up the aisle.  So proud of her.  Here are some pics of the day...

 Em with her favorite "doughnut."
 Hanging out before the wedding...
Eating dinner at the reception with Nana...
 Eyeing the cupcake tower...
I mean, REALLY eyeing them!  So much so, that I had to steal one off the back before the cake was cut.  I think she earned it though!
Em also kept an eye on sweet baby Kinsley...
 Dancing with Cherith...
By this time of the night, she was so tired.  She hadn't had a nap...and it was starting to show.  When she gets tired, she gets very slap happy.  I wish that I had gotten some better video of the dancing she did.  We were laughing SO hard.  SHe would dance till she fell over and then just lay there and laugh.  it was HYSTERICAL!
Finally, mom took her home and I stayed for the rest of the party.  I even caught the bouquet.  Not the first one I have caught so I am not holding my breath...but you never know!  Cherith and Preston left in a helicopter...quite a show!  Wish the pics of that had turned out...but it was quite a memory!
Congrats Cherith and Preston!
It was an honor to share in your special day!

Left in a helicopter??? Woah.

The two of you look beautiful together. And, hey, you never know about that catching the bouquet...though I admit that I never was real excited about that tradition. We didn't do it at our wedding. I'm a rebel. :)

That cupcake tower is really something--she totally earned several of those babies. :)
