Merry Christmas!

Christmas morning started with "coppee."  I am guessing if Emma had known what was coming, she wouldn't have let us leisurely drink our coffee.
Then, we went into the living room to see what Santa had left in our stockings.

Emma was thrilled that Santa left her mnm's...her favorite candy!

Then, Emma was sitting on Nana's lap and whispering.  We couldn't figure it out at first, but then I realized she was asking, "Where's Santa go?"  So we headed to the den so she could see her presents.  I videoed her coming down, but didn't get anyone to take pics...so sad.  I think I can get stills from the video, but that will take some figuring out!  We shall see.

She was a little confused at first and then we realized that she thought she was really going to SEE Santa.  Bless her sweet heart!  I think she was a little sad he wasn't there, but she got over it pretty quickly and was eager to check out her new toys!

Santa brought her a table and chairs, a baby, a stroller...and so many other fun things!

First things first of course...the baby's clothes had to come off.  What is it with kids and naked baby dolls??

Some friends of ours gave her this train set.  She LOVES trains!

Not sure who liked this more...Emma or Papa!

Opening gifts is SO much fun!

Aunt Lara got some great Wonder Woman gear fo her office.  She is starting a new job when they return to California.  We cautioned her about putting out ALL her accessories the first day!

Emma was pleased to get some snow boots!

She had to try them out...and she was pretty good with the zippers!

Maybe I should send this nurturing picture to my social worker to make up for Emma's fiasco at our post placement visit!  Remember?  She yelled, "NO! NO! NO!" to her doggie and threw it to the ground.  I wanted to crawl under my couch!

And then...more panties on the head...hopefully this is just a phase!  :)

Merry Christmas to all!
