It's FINALLY starting!

Real construction seems to have begun!

Today, Mom and I went through the model checking some measurements for furniture and such. Next week is my spring break and I am hoping to pick out light fixtures etc then. I am getting so excited! Later this afternoon when I tried to lay down for my usual Sunday afternoon nap, I couldn't sleep! My mind was just buzzing with furniture placement and dreams!

Here is the table and hutch I think I am going to get...it's at Target. I was a little frustrated because the chairs are BOLTED to the floor so you can't sit in them to "try it on." But at a different Target, there was just enough (and I DO mean JUST ENOUGH) room for me to sit in a chair and get a "feel"for it. I think it will be great!

I stood for the longest time today in "Emma's room" just longing - not only to have the room, but to have her! I have a new song that has my heart this week and surprisingly enough, it is not by Alathea! This song is by Geoff Moore - and special thanks to my friend Christy and her i-tunes account, I can listen all I want...and believe me I have. Here are the lyrics...look it up and listen to it...it's precious!
SWEPT AWAY
Written and performed by Geoff Moore

We would say your name
A hundred times a day
Like speaking words in faith
And with a mixture of
Hope and fear and trust
We prayed for the strength to wait
And dreamed of how we’d feel the day
You’d be in our arms and…

Swept away
Caught up in our love
Home to stay
You’ll never be alone
You’ll be amazed
At how much you are loved
Your life will never be the same
Once you’re swept away

What once was just a dream
Is now reaching up to me
And I hold her in my arms
Father thank you for the way
You held her all those days
That we had to spend apart
And now I see the impossible dream
Is holding me and I’m…

Swept away
Caught up in your love
Home to stay
I ’ll never be alone
And I’m amazed
At how much I am loved
My life will never be the same
I’ve been swept away
My favorite line (today) is "We would say your name....like speaking words in faith." It is sometimes overwhelming how much I love her...and I don't even know her...she's not even (in all probability) conceived. I think about the fact that before I was formed, God knew me...and loved me. What I feel for Emma - though incredibly huge - is just a fraction of the love God has for me...and her. His love has swept me away...I pray it has swept you away as well!

so do we get a daily construction update? Perhaps if you show up each day w/ camera in tow they might take notice and hurry up a bit? lol.

Love the furnishings! It'll be nice to have a place to put them! And love the song. I'll definitely be logging onto i-Tunes to check it our! Sounds like a song for those days when you just wonder when it's going to happen, and to remember to have faith. Our babies will come to us when the time is right (I know, I know, it feels like the time is right NOW!).
