Forgive me...I goofed!

I said in a recent post that it had been 70 days since China had sent out referrals and that was wrong...There has been a longer span between referrals the past 2 months...but not that much. I must have read the post wrong that I was referencing.

A new batch of referrals came out Friday, June 19. They have matched families with a log in date up to March 20, 2006 so that means that there are ONLY 317 days between where they are and where I am. On average, they refer 4 days per month. So if things continue as they are, it could be 79.25 months...or nearly 7 years from now when I will recieve my referral.

This may drive me to drink!

Have you considered joining the sn program? LH's sn program is moving at a pretty good pace...

That's craziness!! I have no idea how it is they can justify keeping orphaned children from loving homes. But then again, I'm not a communist.

It has driven me to cookies and ice cream! Not quite as bad as "drink" but not too pretty either :) If you are interested in SN our agency is "supposedly" doing a pilot program in Shanghai. They said they will have "More children then clients, so get the word out." If you are interested let me know. Keep me posted on the possible domestic situation. I hope and pray it works out for both of us!
