This coming week is totally full of special days! I don't even know that I can handle all the excitement!
So we made count down chain to all the fun days.
First, on Monday, we will celebrate our GOTCHA day! You are mine forever day! I can't believe it's been a year already...where did the time go???
I hadn't really planned to take the day off, but I have an appointment that day in the morning. Then, in the afternoon, we are going to a local crafty place to paint a plate in honor of our special day. Later, we will meet Nana and Papa for Chinese food...seems appropriate.
Then, on Wednesday, we will celebrate Emma's 3rd birthday.
Really...she's excited about the day...just didn't catch the goof-ball smile! On her actual birthday, she will pick what/where we eat and we will probably do cake with just nana, papa, and us.
Then, on Saturday...PARTY TIME!!!! We are trying to keep it small...mostly family. She wanted several different kinds of birthdays...but we decided on Hell0 kitty. This is my first party to plan...it's hard to not go overboard, but I am determined to keep it simple and fun for all of us!
We put them all together in a paper chain including a few just normal days.
Looking forward to a week of celebrations!

oh, so cute and fun! i'm just now catching up on your blog and am about to dive into your posts about last year. can't wait! for some reason when i try to email you, it never goes through:( but, i wanted to know if you were/would consider going back to adopt again? you said in a recent comment you were almost ready to go back and i was just curious! ha! i'd love to, but i just don't know if it will happen.
